Computer Operator and Programming Assistant

1. Computer Fundamentals,Internet
Computer Applications is designed to familiarize students with computers and their applications. It will also emphasize the use of computers and technology throughout their highschool, college, and future careers. Students will learn fundamental concepts of computer hardware and software and become familiar with a variety ofcomputer applications, including MS-word,MS-Excel,MS-Power Point Presentation etc. Students will also investigate Internet-based applications, working with email and learning how to browse the web. Coursework also includes activities that explore social and ethical issues related to computers.

2.Hardwarw& Networking
The role of a Computer Hardware & Network Maintenance personnel is to support and maintain computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required. Install, maintain and setup LAN with Internet Connection.

3.Tally
The course is designed to give an opportunity to the undergraduate student to get acquainted with Tally Accounting Software. This course caters to the vocational needs of the students and is concurrent with the syllabus covered by the Universities. COVERAGE : The course covers basics of accountancy which covers the entire accounting cycle of the business environment. It is focused on understanding and learning of basic accounting terms, accounting principles, concepts and conventions, double entry system, modes of accounting and preparation of financial statements. The course also covers an introduction to various types of business organizations, accounting on computers, Tally fundaments which includes learning of Tally features and its functionality. To bring ease in getting functional with Tally, sample data processing and its report generation will also be taught to the students as part of this course.

4. DTP & Web Designing
Course Goals:
To learn the elements and principles of graphic design and how to apply them to a design project.
To learn the four different type styles and how to make an informed decision about typographic choices.
To learn the elements and principles behind creating effective visual communications such as a stationary system, poster and brochure.
