Ignatius Feast Celebration

The Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola was celebrated with joy and respect in the institute on 30th July 2025. The program started with a prayer service, where everyone prayed together and remembered the good life and teachings of St. Ignatius, the founder of the Society of Jesus. speech and shared kind words about the importance of the day. The chief guest was Rev. Fr. James Aloysius Gonsalves, SJ, in his speech, he talked about the values of St. Ignatius like working hard to do our best (Magis), making wise choices, trusting in God, and helping others. He told students to follow these values in their lives and become kind and helpful people. To make the day more interesting, different competitions were held for the students. There was a puzzle competition based on Ignatian themes, a quiz on the life of St. Ignatius, and a collage competition where students showed their creativity through pictures and designs. After the competitions, a prize distribution ceremony was held, and the winners were given prizes by the chief guest and teachers. The program ended with a vote of thanks to everyone who helped make the event a success. The celebration of St. Ignatius’ Feast was a special day for all and helped remind us of his values and how we can use them in our own lives.
