An awareness program on International Tiger Day was held in the campus to help students understand the importance of saving tigers. The session was led by Mr. Krishna, Education Officer from Wildlife SOS, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru. He explained how tigers help keep forests healthy by controlling the number of other animals. He also spoke about the dangers tigers face, like hunting and losing their homes. The chief guest gave a short speech. He said that tigers are not only our national animal, but they are also very important for keeping nature balanced. Tigers are top hunters, and they help protect forests and plants. He told students that tigers are in danger of disappearing, and we must all work together to save them. The program helped students understand why tigers are important and how everyone can help by learning more, caring for nature, and spreading awareness about saving wildlife.
