Awareness Program On Life Support

On November 7, 2023, Loyola ITI, Bengaluru, in collaboration with the VIDYA Centre of Excellence, hosted a crucial awareness program on basic life support skills. Staff members from Fortis Hospital in Bangalore were invited to the ITI campus to share vital information and conduct practical demonstrations to enhance community safety. The primary goal of the awareness program was to equip the community with essential life-saving skills, focusing on basic life support techniques and responses to cardiac arrest. Additionally, the session aimed to educate participants on hand wash hygiene procedures to prevent the spread of infections and Special attention was given to child safety, rescuing a child in case of swallowing any hard object. The demonstrationallowed the participants to develop the skills in responding to emergency situations. All the participants extended the gratitude to the Fortis team for imparting the lifesaving skills.
