NATIONAL WOMENS DAY- 2024

To acknowledge the achievements of women in different fields, the National Women’s Day was celebrated in the campus. As a part of the women’s day an awareness program on gender equality was organised on 13th February in the ITI hall. The resource person Dr. Roopa Bernardiner consultant capacity building added valuable insights to the session. The topics such as gender-based discrimination, its causes, and gender stereotypes were addressed. They are crucial for deeper understanding and promoting equality. A beautiful video was displayed to reveal that women are not inferior to men and both possess equal capabilities. The session provided the students with the opportunity to express their experiences of discrimination both within the academics and at the family set up. Events like these not only celebrate the achievements of women but also serve as a platform for meaningful discussions and actions towards gender equality.
