Waves - 2019

The St.Joseph community college had arranged its academic waves - 2019 on 2nd February 2019 in Picardo hall. Many competitions were arranged in college premise. The function was inaugurated by Fr. Anthony Lawrence the director of Loyola ITI . Sister Hema the principal of TAP community college and Sister Diana and Saritha the principal of Nirmal Jyoti college were present as the guest for this program.

Some competitions such as public speaking ,collage, western and vernacular music and dance, quiz, face painting, mehandi, cooking without fire, fusion dance, Indian dance, mime, debate, mad adds were held in the picardo hall. The program started at 10 am. More than 300 hundred participants from across 12 colleges participated in more than 16 competitions. Our college students had participated in mime, cooking without fire, face painting, debate out of which we won first prize in cooking without fire and mime and third prize in face painting. The best academic waves was awarded to Nirmal Jyoti college. All the students exhibited their talents through a very colorful and value based programme.

Chief guest Fr. Anthony Lawrence delivered his valuable speech. In his speech he gave much importance to need for arranging such a programme in the college premises. Father encouraged students for their performances. The program came to an end by 4:30 pm. However all students enjoyed the function and highly appreciated the organizers.
